Public Log #4: When the Day Job Explodes
🚀 UpdatePublished 4 weeks ago • Narrative Overview
history_edu Summary of Progress
Today was a total survival day. I planned to work on the iOS app, but the “real world” had other plans.
Our main agency server was hacked. I finished my normal 9-to-5 job and then immediately spent the entire evening restoring the server. Instead of building my future, I was fixing a crisis.
The Numbers
- Audience: 102 -> 107 followers on X.
- X Reach: 8,200 impressions
- Projects: No progress on code today.
- Side Revenue: $0.
The Lesson of the Day: Protecting the Energy
When you have a 9-to-5, your time is not always yours. A server hack or a work emergency can destroy your schedule. I am tired, and I am frustrated that I couldn’t code today. But I am not quitting. Even though I didn’t write one line of code for my app, I still grew on X, and I am showing up here to write this log.
report_problem The Hurdles
After fixing a hacked server all night, my brain is empty. I have to accept that today was a "maintenance" day, and I will try to get back to the pixels and Figma tomorrow morning in the cafe.
